Earlier today, the plane that was flying The Kooks from Munich to Warsaw was struck by lightning mid-flight. There was no electrical failure but the plane was forced to turn around and return to Munich to have the exterior haul checked for damage.

Luckily, The Kooks are all still intact and tomorrow’s appearance at Open’er Festival in Poland will be going ahead.
